Bob Ciesla

Bob Ciesla is the Vice President of Weapons for Boeing Defense, Space & Security’s Missile and Weapon Systems division. In this role, he oversees Boeing’s Direct Attack, Cruise Missile Systems, Integrated Air and Missile Defense and Laser & Electro-Optical solutions.
With over 30 years of engineering and management experience at Boeing, including flight test and design engineering, Ciesla has also served as vice president and program manager of the F-15 program, where he was responsible for its overall performance, including technical, quality, cost, and schedule performance, as well as business strategy, execution, and growth.
Ciesla received a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Saint Louis University in 1983, a master’s degree in management from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University in 1986, and a doctorate in organizational leadership from Pepperdine University in 2001. Ciesla sits on the Forest Park Forever Board of Directors in St. Louis, Missouri, and the Saint Louis University Parks College of Engineering, Aviation and Technology Advisory Board.
