Scott Weisman has over 35 years of experience in the financial services, legal and investment banking industries.

In 2007, he launched Etico Capital LLC, a merchant bank targeting businesses with high growth potential. Scott also serves as the CEO of Etico Partners, an affiliated broker-dealer. From 2004 until 2007, he was a private investor and director of Equity Capital Markets of a New York-based regional brokerage firm. From 1998 until 2004, he was the President, Director of Investment Banking, and Director of Capital Markets at H.C. Wainwright & Co, one of the oldest investment firms in the United States. From 1993 until 1998, he was a Senior Managing Director, Director of Investment Banking at Josephthal & Co., Inc., a super-regional brokerage and investment banking firm. From 1980 until 1993, he was a practicing securities and capital markets lawyer and a Partner at Kelley Drye & Warren LLP.

Scott owns and manages an offshore yacht racing team for promotional purposes and charter and is a Director of the Sailing Yacht Research Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit that funds development and understanding of the science underlying sailboat performance.

Mr. Weisman has a BA from Utica College of Syracuse University and a JD from Albany Law School of Union University.
